  1. 1

I recently faced a challenging situation when I was fired from my first job in my field after just three months. The role was in a company that was severely understaffed, and during my two-month training period, I was only supervised by one manager, as the others were unavailable. This lack of proper training ultimately led to my dismissal due to the quality of my work. I found myself in a tough spot because I had spent three months searching for a job before landing this position, and now I have a gap on my resume if I don't include it. I want to be honest in interviews about my experience without sounding like I'm blaming the company or making excuses. I’ve been considering saying something like, "The role ended due to staffing changes that affected my training structure, and we mutually agreed it wasn't the right fit at that time." I believe this approach keeps it brief and avoids throwing anyone under the bus. Additionally, I moved six months ago for family reasons, and this job was my only local experience. I want to ensure potential employers understand my situation without raising any red flags. I'm grateful for the skills I gained, and I hope to articulate that I learned from this experience and am ready for new challenges.
