I recently decided to quit a data entry job I got through a temp agency. I started this remote position about a month and a half ago, but I quickly realized it wasn't for me. I’ve been actively searching for something more fulfilling and I'm excited to share that I've accepted a new role that starts in October. I plan to resign from my current job by mid-September. The position was initially a 6-month training temp-to-hire role, but I don't think I signed any agreement requiring me to stay the full duration. However, I don't have my onboarding documents, which makes me a bit anxious about the process. I'm unsure whether I should give a two weeks' notice or just leave when I'm ready. I also don't intend to use this job as a reference or include it on my resume since I want to move away from this type of work altogether. This was my first experience with a temp agency, so I'm looking for advice on how to handle my resignation.
