I just got laid off from my new job at Netchex, and I can’t believe it. After nearly a year of searching and hustling, I finally landed my dream position, only to be let go within a month. Today, I received an unexpected call from the Head of People informing me that my role was eliminated due to a business decision. It’s incredibly frustrating and confusing, especially considering how hard I worked to get here. I’m still processing everything, and the state of the tech industry right now makes it even tougher. I know I need to stay positive and keep pushing forward, but this feels like a huge setback.
