I recently got laid off from my job and have been searching for a new position for a few months now without much luck. To keep some income coming in, I decided to walk into a temp agency and started working today at $16 an hour packing boxes. It's not the most enjoyable job, but it's money coming in, and I think temp agencies don't get recommended enough for those in a similar situation. If you're struggling to find work, I highly suggest considering this route.
