Tomorrow, I have a walk-in interview lined up, which feels like a last-ditch effort since I’m burning through my savings just traveling to these places. It’s getting absurd. I recently went to a semi-fast food restaurant chain where the interviewer seemed dismissive right from the start. He raised his brows and rolled his eyes when I walked in, and when I mentioned I was looking to gain server experience, he bluntly told me he needed someone with at least two years of experience. Seriously? For a place like that? It’s frustrating because they waste my time with these strict requirements while they don’t even seem to review resumes properly. Plus, they insist on online applications, but what's the point if they’re not actually looking at them? I’m trying to stay polite, but I can’t help but feel angry about the whole situation. I just hope the interviewer faces someone who gives him a taste of his own medicine because this is getting ridiculous.
