I applied for a position in May and was thrilled to receive an offer in June, but it came with no start date. After that, I tried to follow up multiple times, but I was completely ghosted. Today, I finally got an update, but it was a rejection. I'm really frustrated with how these companies operate—it's unacceptable to leave candidates hanging for months only to deliver a rejection later. I'm feeling pretty disheartened by the whole experience.
