Today, I completed a small assessment for an IT traineeship, but I have a sinking feeling that I won't be hired. The tasks were quite challenging, especially for someone like me who has no prior experience. I managed to do well on two of the tasks, but the most critical one was overwhelming, and I only completed about 20% of it. I’m expecting a call tomorrow, probably with a rejection. I'm trying to figure out how to cope with this potential disappointment. I know I need to keep applying to other positions, as I've heard from others that persistence is key. One person shared their experience of being jobless for two months, going through multiple interviews, and still facing rejections. It’s tough, but I guess I just need to keep pushing forward.
