Applied for Recruiting Coordinator Role Despite Limited Experience

I recently applied for a Recruiting Coordinator position, which required around a year of experience. However, I only have about three months of internship experience in a rather disorganized company, so I'm not entirely sure how much that counts. Despite this, I felt confident in my ability to learn quickly and contribute effectively, so I went ahead and submitted my application. I'm curious if anyone else has been in a similar situation where they applied for a job without meeting all the experience requirements but still received an offer. If you have, what strategies did you use? Was it your resume, interview skills, or perhaps your eagerness to learn that set you apart from other candidates? I'd love to hear your stories, especially since I've noticed many job descriptions asking for 1 to 3 years of experience for roles that seem to be entry-level.
