Today, I felt the need to vent about my job search. I currently work at a pharmaceutical factory where I produce medicine, but I'm trying to transition to an entry-level pharmacy technician position. It’s frustrating because the role seems like a cashier job at a pharmacy, yet I am not qualified to handle transactions despite being involved in making the very medicine that people take. It just doesn’t add up! I applied for the position, which claimed 'zero experience required,' thinking it would be a good fit. But of course, I got the typical response: they want experience even for entry-level roles. It’s maddening trying to break into a new field when the system feels so contradictory!
