I was recently laid off from my previous company. They informed me on Tuesday that I needed to resign, and my last day was that Friday, so I left the organization within just four days. The dates are clearly stated in the resignation acceptance letter I received. Now, I'm uncertain about how to approach my job search. Should I be upfront with HR and mention that I was laid off, or can I frame it as a voluntary resignation? I'm also worried about how this layoff might impact my job hunt moving forward.
