Today, I learned that a company I used to admire, which was recently awarded 'Supplier of the Year,' has unexpectedly closed its factory. This decision has resulted in the termination of 325 employees, including many who had dedicated years to the organization. It's disheartening to see such a respected company make a move that impacts so many lives, especially after receiving such a prestigious accolade just weeks ago. I'm reflecting on how unpredictable the job market can be and considering my own job security.

I recently learned that morale at Meta has plummeted to historic lows, with the CTO admitting that the atmosphere feels reminiscent of the worst days during the Cambridge Analytica scandal. This decline in worker satisfaction seems to be a direct result of the significant layoffs tied to Mark Zuckerberg's push for AI advancements. As someone who has been following the company's changes closely, it's disheartening to see the impact of these redundancies on employee morale.
