I applied for a position at a company over a month and a half ago and completed the first round of interviews. Initially, I was told to expect feedback within two weeks, but when I followed up, they mentioned they were still processing applications. After waiting another two weeks, I reached out again and was informed that final decisions regarding the second or third round of interviews would be made by the end of that week. However, I still haven't heard back. I did some research and found that this company's hiring process is notoriously slow, with reports of it taking up to four months. I'm contemplating whether I should follow up again in two weeks, but I don't want to come off as annoying. This job feels like a perfect fit for me, and I genuinely believe in the role. I've been job searching for about four months now, so I'm trying to stay positive and explore other opportunities, but this situation is quite frustrating.
