I recently transitioned from a job I held for over three years to a new position, and I can't shake the feeling of missing my old job. I really miss my coworkers and the ease of the work. After doing it for so long, I could get my tasks done while listening to music or podcasts, and it felt effortless. I left due to deteriorating management and a lot of workplace drama, and now I wonder if I should have just waited it out a bit longer to see if things improved. Now, at my new job in a much larger company, I feel completely overwhelmed. The corporate environment is a stark contrast to what I was used to, and I'm struggling to adjust. The training has been underwhelming compared to my previous experiences, and I'm concerned about my ability to adapt. I know I need to give it time and maintain a positive outlook, but it's tough when I keep reminiscing about how comfortable I was in my old role.
