I've been unemployed for almost a year now, and it's been incredibly frustrating trying to find a job in the IT industry. With so many positions being replaced by AI, I feel like my chances of landing a new role are dwindling. I'm seriously considering a career change and thinking about becoming a plumber or pursuing another trade. I've seen others express similar feelings, and I wonder if anyone else has made the jump to a trade after struggling to find work in tech.
