I'm currently navigating a tricky situation with two recruiters regarding a contract role at Amazon. Recruiter #1 initially reached out to me about the position and had me sign a Right to Represent (RTR), but then he went completely silent after saying he would submit my profile. I followed up multiple times over several weeks without any response. Feeling uncertain, I accepted an approach from Recruiter #2, who also contacted me about what seemed to be the same Amazon role. He assured me that he checked and there were no issues with representing me, so he submitted my profile. Just last week, I asked him for an update, and he mentioned that there were no new developments, which led me to believe my application was still active. Out of the blue, Recruiter #1 has now reached out asking if I'm still available for the role. I'm confused about whether he ever submitted my application after I signed the RTR, and I'm concerned about the possibility of duplicate submissions. I don’t want to jeopardize my chances by causing any issues with my application. I'm contemplating whether to inform Recruiter #1 about Recruiter #2's submission and ask him to verify my status or if there's a more effective way to handle this situation. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!
