I just found out that the lab I work at is shutting down. It’s been a tough week as we’re all trying to process this news. I’m currently a research technician, and this lab has been my home for the past three years. I’m not sure what the next steps are for me, but I’m starting to look for new opportunities. I’ve been updating my resume and reaching out to my network to see if anyone knows of openings in similar fields. It’s a bit overwhelming, but I’m hoping to find something soon.
