I recently had a phone screening with a recruiter for an Account Manager position that went really well. Following that, we had a virtual Teams meeting which also seemed to go smoothly. I'm expecting to hear back from them by Friday. The job listing mentions that ideally, they want someone in the office for two days a week, but the company does emphasize flexibility regarding remote work. The recruiter mentioned that some employees work remotely while others come in for client meetings. I made it clear that I prefer remote work, but she said she would suggest to the hiring manager that I could come in one day a week. Now, I'm wondering if I should wait until the next round of interviews to clarify my preference for remote work or if I should reach out to the recruiter now to discuss it further. How should I approach this?
