I had a conversation with my manager today, and she mentioned that she doesn’t have many hours to offer me for next week. This has me worried about my job security, especially since I’m about to start school soon. I’m considering whether I should look for a new job, but I’m hesitant because many places might not be flexible with my school schedule. I’m aware that this time of year can be slow for retail, so I’m trying to figure out if this is just a seasonal issue or if it reflects my performance. I might reach out to my manager to see if there’s anything I can do to secure more hours, like being more flexible with my availability.
