I was recently let go from my job due to what was labeled as gross misconduct, which I believe was a significant misunderstanding. After my termination, I applied for unemployment benefits but was initially denied. I decided to appeal the decision and presented my side of the story. After two weeks, I received a letter stating that while no gross misconduct had occurred, I was still terminated for just cause. I'm trying to understand what this means for my situation moving forward. Thanks for taking the time to read about my experience.
