I recently had a couple of colleagues laid off from our company last week. This week, I was approached by the CEO of a partner company who asked if I could recommend someone for a sales and marketing position. I immediately thought of two of my former colleagues who would be perfect for the role. I went ahead and made an introduction using their personal emails while I used my work email for the communication. Now, I’m starting to overthink whether this could cause any issues. Did I cross any boundaries by using my work email for this?
