I reached out to the HR department of a local hospital where I've been trying to land a job for several years. Despite my extensive experience and tailored resumes, I've faced continuous rejection. Last month, I decided to call a recruiter for advice on how to improve my chances. I poured my heart out, expressing my frustrations and desperation for employment. I even asked if I had been red-flagged in their system. Unfortunately, the recruiter was passive-aggressive and provided me with the same generic responses I've heard before. I've previously applied for housekeeping positions but was discouraged from applying by some recruiters. At this point, I felt I had nothing to lose and just wanted to understand what I was doing wrong. I’m hoping to get some opinions on my approach and what I can do next.
