  1. 1

I was laid off from my position back in April after expressing my frustrations about being treated poorly at my previous company. I felt like I was being used as a company bulldog, and shortly after I voiced my concerns, I was let go under the guise of "performance issues" that had never been mentioned before. Since then, I've been on the job hunt, and things were pretty slow until about a month ago when I started getting interview calls from seven different employers. I've completed multiple interviews and assessments for several positions, but unfortunately, I haven't heard back from most of them. I did receive an offer for a job that I’m not particularly interested in, and it's also a management role, which I was hoping to avoid. I'm really torn about whether to accept this offer or hold out for the other positions that align better with my career goals and offer similar pay to what I was making before. I'm trying to be professional about it, but the waiting game is tough. I'm considering accepting the job just to have something lined up, but I really don’t want to waste anyone’s time if something else comes through.
