I received notice today that I will be laid off in mid-November. I had a feeling this was coming, so I've already started applying for new positions, but I'm feeling anxious about my chances of finding something suitable. I've been trying to pivot into different fields and leverage other skills I have, but it's tough. I'm curious how long it typically takes others to secure a new job after a layoff. I'm also looking for some encouragement during this uncertain time.
