I was recently let go from my position at J3, and I'm feeling quite confused about the whole situation. They cited my 'activity' as the reason for my termination, but I had the best cold calling numbers on the team. It's especially perplexing since I'm still in the ramp-up period. I'm wondering if anyone else has faced a similar experience during their ramp period, being fired for activity despite having strong performance metrics. I'm considering reaching out to HR to discuss the possibility of negotiating severance, or even consulting an employment lawyer. If anyone has insights or experiences to share about how they handled a similar situation, I would really appreciate it.
