I just learned that Tyson Foods has officially closed its Lexington plant as of Friday, which means the final round of layoffs has taken place. It’s a tough situation for everyone affected, and I can’t help but feel for my former colleagues who are now facing uncertainty in their job search.

I recently learned that 26 former employees of Meta are suing the company. They allege that the layoffs they experienced were aided by AI and specifically targeted those who were on medical or family leave. This situation raises significant concerns about how companies are using technology in their decision-making processes, especially regarding vulnerable employees. It's disheartening to see such practices happening in large organizations.
