It's now day 3 since they called my 5 references, and I'm starting to wonder how long I should expect to wait before hearing back about the job. I've heard that waiting a week is reasonable, but I’m eager to know what the next steps are. I plan to reach out to my references to see if they’ve been contacted, and I might also ask the recruiter about their expected timeline for feedback.
