I recently applied for a high-paying project management position and went through a multi-step interview process. First, I had a phone interview, which led to a panel interview conducted via Teams. I felt that went well, and afterward, I was asked to provide five references—three professional and two personal. All my references were contacted, and they reported back to me that the feedback from the hiring manager was positive. Now, I've been invited for an in-person interview. I'm feeling hopeful that this means I'm at least one of their top candidates or very close to receiving a job offer.
