I recently interviewed for a NICU New Grad Nurse Residency position, and during the interview, I got really nervous and ended up only mentioning that I had experience feeding babies. However, I have a lot more relevant experience that I completely blanked on. Now, I'm wondering if I should send a thank you email that includes the additional information I forgot to mention. I really want this job as it's my dream role, but I'm worried that sending the email might come off as desperate. I’ve seen advice suggesting that sending a follow-up is a good idea, as it shows my interest and helps clarify my qualifications. I’m leaning towards sending it, but I want to make sure I do it right.
