I recently had a very casual interview for a warehouse position, which was more of a one-sided conversation with the hiring manager than a typical interview. Initially, I was interested, but after reflecting on it at home, I realized I don't want to take the job. I'm unsure how to politely refuse the offer since the interview felt so informal. I've found some templates online for declining job offers, but they seem too formal for this situation. I would prefer a more relaxed approach that fits the tone of the interview. I’m considering just saying something straightforward like, 'Thanks for the offer, but I'm no longer looking for employment.' However, I'm also open to suggestions from others who might have faced a similar situation.
