I was laid off from my position as an AI specialist due to a restructuring program. Interestingly, before I even received my termination notice, I was offered a different role as an analyst. This new position is quite a departure from my career path, and I'm feeling uncertain about how to proceed. The analyst role seems to be at risk of becoming obsolete in a few years due to advancements in AI, and it doesn't align well with my skill set.
