I'm a 32-year-old househusband who has been dealing with chronic illness and mental health issues for most of my life. I was on disability benefits in my early 20s, but after moving to the UK and my husband supporting us, I never felt the need to work. However, my situation has changed. I healed from my mental health struggles, which is a miracle in itself, but then I developed a chronic physical condition that leaves me exhausted. Now, with rising living costs, I'm considering working for the first time. I have no traditional job experience, and I'm worried about my age and health affecting my employability. I can only manage part-time work, ideally something remote or that allows me to sit most of the time. I’ve been looking at job options, but most entry-level positions seem too physically demanding for me. I found a receptionist job about 30 minutes away, which could be a possibility, but I’m concerned about how to present myself in interviews and what to put on my CV. I have basic skills like typing and computer literacy, but I feel lost on how to market myself. I'm seeking advice on what types of jobs I should look for and how to approach interviews without disclosing my disabilities. Any encouragement or tips would be greatly appreciated as this is all new territory for me.

    Job title: receptionist
