I was blindsided by a layoff today from my role as a Senior Business Development Manager in the wellness industry. I made the leap from a stable career in medical device sales to pursue my passion, and now it feels like that decision has backfired. Just yesterday, I was busy launching major app updates, signing contracts with Fortune 500 companies for their wellness programs, and hosting corporate webcasts. Now, I'm suddenly unemployed and facing a harsh reality check. I know I need to pivot quickly, so I'm reaching out for help.
