I recently received a job offer for a position that is one title below what I initially applied for. During the initial screening with HR, they mentioned the lower title but indicated that there was potential for advancement to the original title. Now that I have the offer, I'm wondering if I should negotiate for the higher title since I believe I have the skills to perform at that level. I'm looking for advice on whether it's reasonable to ask for a title raise at this stage.

I recently received a job offer that I'm currently evaluating. I'm grateful to have this opportunity, especially given the current job market. The new position offers a higher salary than my current job, but it comes with a high deductible health insurance plan. Additionally, I'm in a rent-controlled apartment, but my rent is set to increase significantly soon. This new role presents a solid career growth opportunity, allowing me to develop new skills that could be valuable for future job searches. However, I'm concerned about the high-stress startup environment, which seems to offer little to no flexibility. I'm worried about the potential for burnout and the uncertainty of the startup's longevity beyond a year. On the other hand, my current workplace, while stable, lacks growth opportunities and feels stagnant. I definitely want to move on from my current job, but I'm hesitant about fully committing to this new offer. I'm seeking advice on how to weigh these factors and make the best decision.
