I had the worst interview experience for an executive marketing assistant role recently. I traveled over an hour by bus and train to get to the employer's office, only to be met with complete disrespect. The marketing manager asked me if I had any certifications, and when I said no, he literally did a thumbs down and made a fart noise before walking away from me. To make matters worse, I could hear him talking negatively about me to one of his employees in his glass office right behind me. It was incredibly rude and unprofessional. It really makes me question how much employers actually care about candidates.
