I recently applied for a position at a company through Workday. After submitting my application, I connected with an employee who was willing to refer me for the same role and sent me a referral link. However, I had already completed my application before receiving the referral link. I'm concerned about submitting a duplicate application and causing confusion in the system. I'm wondering if I should withdraw my current application and reapply using the referral link, or if the employee can submit the referral internally after I've already applied. I would really appreciate any advice from those who have faced a similar situation.
