Applied at law firm for cleaner

I recently lost my job as a cleaner at a law firm where I had been working for the past 7 months. I was really enjoying my time there, especially since I also got the chance to help out with some administrative tasks. It was a bit far from my previous job, but the workplace was great and I felt like I was contributing. However, I received an email this afternoon informing me that I was no longer needed. They mentioned that they require someone more qualified for the admin work I was doing, and they plan to hire after-hours cleaners for the cleaning duties. This has left me feeling really down and like I've failed. I've never been fired before, and it’s hard for me to share this with my parents because I have a deep fear of disappointing them. Right now, I feel lost and unsure of what my next steps should be.
