I accepted a new role earlier this month and signed the contracts, which was an exciting step forward. I put in my notice at my current job, and I’m set to start my new position next week. My new boss suggested a shorter first week with a few days off, which I appreciated. However, tomorrow is my last day at my current job, and I haven't heard from him since our last conversation. I didn’t expect to hear from him, but I can’t help feeling anxious about it. Should I anticipate a message by the end of this week, or is it more likely I’ll hear from him on Monday, just before I start? I’m trying to manage my expectations.
