I recently had a conversation with my direct supervisor, Pink, and my boss, Light Blue, about communication issues. I thought I had made some improvements, but now I’m starting to doubt that. Today, I called in sick because I was feeling really disheartened after our discussion. I know it probably wasn’t the best decision, especially since I have a meeting scheduled with my boss's boss, who I’ve never met one-on-one before. I’m worried that this meeting could be about my job security, and I can’t shake the feeling that I might be getting fired. It’s a small team, so I can’t help but feel the pressure. I just hope I can get through this without losing my job.
