I had an interview today for a part-time position, and I mentioned that I could work from 12 PM to 10:30 PM since I finish school around 11:50 AM. However, I realize now that I might have misrepresented my availability. I was trying to be flexible, but I can see how that could be a red flag for the employer. Some comments I received pointed out that I might have confused them with my hours, and they suggested I clarify my actual availability soon. I’m feeling a bit anxious about how this could affect my chances of getting the job.
