I recently moved for a job that isn't quite what I envisioned for myself. About a month into this role, I learned that my dream job had an opening. I had previously interviewed for it but lost out to a more experienced candidate. However, I just received a call from the company offering me this dream position, with a start date in about 5-6 months. I’m torn about what to do next. While my current job is fine, it doesn’t excite me like the new opportunity would. I’ve been advised to confirm the timeline and ensure the position is secure before making any decisions. For now, I plan to keep working at my current job until I have more clarity.
