I recently received a referral for a position at a tech company where I applied for a software engineering role. It's been a couple of weeks since my application was submitted, and despite the referral, I haven't heard anything back about an interview. I'm feeling a bit anxious about the situation, as I thought having a referral would increase my chances of getting an interview. I'm considering following up with the person who referred me to see if they have any insights or if I should reach out to the hiring manager directly.
