I recently resigned from my position at an Indian IT MNC, where I have a 90-day notice period. I made this decision about a month ago after receiving an offer from a startup. However, just two days ago, the startup informed me that they can no longer onboard me due to losing a major project. Now, my current employer is actively looking for my replacement, and I'm feeling uncertain about whether I should revoke my resignation. The IT job market seems quite dry right now, and I'm worried about not receiving any other offers. I’m contemplating if anyone has experience with taking back a resignation and how their situation turned out afterward. Should I wait another month to see if I get any offers before deciding to revoke? My main concern is whether my employer would even allow me to take back my resignation if they find someone to fill my position.
