I recently received an incredible job offer in another state, which has me both excited and anxious. I put in my two weeks' notice at my current job and have signed the offer letter. I've even passed the background check, and the recruiter assured me that all that's left is to wait for onboarding information and my start date. However, I can't shake this nagging fear that the company might rescind the offer. It feels like a valid concern, especially since I would be in a tough spot if that happened. I wonder how common it is for offers to be rescinded at this stage. I’m trying to manage my anxiety and remind myself that it’s probably just overthinking.
