I have an interview this week for a marketing position at an agency, and I've just learned that the client for this role is a company my partner previously worked with during their consulting job. While neither of us would be directly employed by this client, I'm feeling a bit anxious about whether this could pose a conflict of interest or if I should bring it up during the interview. I really don't want to jeopardize this opportunity over something that might not even be an issue. It feels a bit dramatic to worry about, but I want to be transparent and avoid any potential awkwardness.
