I've been working at my current job for 8 months now, and honestly, I can't stand my boss. It's a small company, so avoiding them is impossible, and their controlling nature makes what could be a great job feel unbearable. I'm eager to find something else, even if this short stint doesn't look great on my resume. The challenge I'm facing is finding the time to apply for new jobs while still being employed. After a long day at work, I'm usually mentally exhausted, and I can only manage to tweak my resume and send out a couple of applications at night. Weekends are a bit better for this, but I'm still struggling to be efficient. I've tried using AI tools, but they haven't made the process any easier. Plus, I haven't even started thinking about how to schedule interviews yet. I really want to leave this job, but I hesitate to quit without having something lined up. I know that if I quit, I could be job hunting for a while without any income, which is a scary thought. So, I'm looking for tips on how to balance a job I dislike while effectively applying for new opportunities and preparing for interviews.
