I recently applied for a junior role in the pharma sector, which is quite rare these days, and it felt like a perfect match for my skills and experience. After being contacted on July 7, I had my first interview on July 20, followed by another with the hiring manager and department director on September 17. Things seemed to go well, especially when the director asked if I could start immediately during the on-site technical interview on October 12. However, I haven't heard anything since then. I sent a follow-up email 1.5 weeks ago and even tried calling the talent acquisition specialist last week, but no response. I'm feeling anxious since this role is the only one that truly fits me in months, and the job market is tough right now. I'm debating whether I should call the talent acquisition specialist one last time or if that would just make me seem overly eager. Any advice would be appreciated!
