I was laid off today as part of company-wide layoffs, and I'm currently 33 weeks pregnant. I'm based in Massachusetts and feel fortunate that I will still receive pay until September 4th. My induction is scheduled for August 21st, so I will remain on my employer's insurance until then, after which I will transition to my husband's insurance along with our daughter and the baby on the way. I've applied for unemployment today, and I'm looking for advice on networking and what steps to take next. I'm hoping to secure a new role a few months after giving birth.
