I just received a job offer today, and I'm feeling a mix of excitement and sadness. I'm 24 and graduated last year, and I've been working at my first post-grad job for a full year now. I've been part of a coed team with people my age, and they truly are the best. They made being in the office bearable, and we've spent a lot of time together outside of work, so I genuinely consider them good friends at this point. Unfortunately, my manager has been quite toxic, and I've ultimately decided that it's time to leave because of that. Leaving feels like going through a breakup; I will miss my team and all the great times we've had together. I know that our relationships won't be the same after I leave, and that thought is really weighing on me. I'm looking for advice on how to cope with this change and maintain those friendships despite the distance.
