I recently applied for a job at a company and have been diligently checking the status of my application through their Workday portal. To my surprise, I noticed a second application had appeared in my account with the status "Application Received" for the same job description but a different title. This new posting just showed up yesterday, and I never applied for it. Interestingly, I had applied for a similar position about a month ago, where the title matched the new job title in my account. I also saw that this new position was just posted on LinkedIn today. I'm left wondering why they didn't just keep my application under the original job title. Is this a good sign or a bad sign? Has anyone else experienced something like this? I couldn't find any similar experiences online, so I'm hoping for some insight.
