I recently had an interview for a position and received a follow-up message from the recruiter mentioning 'next steps.' I'm feeling uncertain about what this means for my chances of getting hired. I reached out to the community to get some insight from recruiters and managers about whether this is a positive sign or just a standard placeholder response. The feedback I received was mixed; some suggested that it doesn't confirm anything and that I should continue applying elsewhere until I have something concrete.
